@GodKiller97 He doesn't have the old stamina anymore.

@OnyonKnight Age contributing to what? I could imply several things from that
-
@GodKiller97 It's the age.

Damn. Dawkins looks like he's either bored as fuck, he's above the people there because he has a Ph.D, or he's rude.
-
Dawkins looks completely bored

@bradkey98765 I accept that you can shoe horn belief into a two teired logic system, I just don't think it's a clever thing to do. For example. Do you believe that I'm a smoker? Do you have faith in science? My point is that there are degrees of belief & it's far better to argue that a belief is justified & rational rather than exclaiming that it is not a belief at all. Rational beliefs don't have to be based on evidence, they can be a product of a process of elimination.

@MrLittletomdj From my understanding, a belief is a statement someone holds to be true, and is therefore binary.
The variety of reasons available for gaining a belief do not change the definition of belief or it’s binary nature.
-
I keep running into these definitions of faith, belief & knowledge. I hear people saying stuff like, belief is binary or we know because we have proof. It's not that simple, there's various definitons of faith & knowledge & both sides are guilty of equivocation fallacies time & time again. Belief isn't binary when using fuzzy logic. Epistomology is such a grey area that virtually anything could be rendered a mere belief. I don't agree that religious teachings are completely void of value either.

@66tom (3) for any of the things he's saying. Of course, I think he's simply trying to brown nose Dawkins into noticing him but Dawkins is obviously SO not interested in being up there with a group of nobodies. So please contact Aron for me and see if you can get this evidence. We'll start there and then move on. It only gets better as Aron continues to talk. Digging the hole.....
-
@66tom (2) please ask Aron who these people are and proof that this is going on. He can present evidence then great...if not he's lying, by his own definition, to intentionally mislead people. He then goes on to say these people are 'home schooled and have no degrees of their own". Once again who are these people? What is their level of education? We're not even 2 minutes into this thing and all he's doing in intentionally lying to people about Texas. Unless of course he can provide proof (Cont)
"Science doesn't know everything. Religion doesn't know anything."

@Evilanious Tom Melchiorre realized that some of his speech was factually incorrect, so he requested that I pull that one. That's why there is no part 3.
