i have a E320 2003 mercedes
how can get that hot sound
-
perfect sound:)

It's that gurgle I don't like. Sounds artificial even though it isn't. I much prefer the odd firing order of the Honda, Duratec, and Alfa V6's. Sounds raw and mean.

i love that VQ engine sound! amazing!

has anyone notices that all the infinities and the 350z sound just like the volkswagen r32 or the other way around. i love that sound

I have the same exhaust and yours sounds ricey with the test pipes. A little too raspy. I put my cats back on, and still kept low end torque and the tone is much deeper!
Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing, just giving my opinion since we have the same car, and exhaust.

Sorry for the late response. I don't take offense at all. Everyone has their opinion. But I honestly hear no rasp. The VQ is naturally deeper and has a "gurgle" to it from the factory. Not sure how you describe it.
My last exhaust was PIT and THAT was raspy. There is a huge diff.
I hope you're enjoying your set up! I do miss the Z.

I'm swapping my TopSpeed setup for this. Love the almost stock sound of it, but just a lil more of a muscular tone. Looks factory from the back also. Sleeper look FTW!

It gets a little loud without a resonated test pipe (in video). So I'd recommend one for less rasp too. Barely any without, but I bet it's 10x better with.
