This is probably boring to you but it was fun to me. This was my first dive. The dive was fun except the gal that took us out was not the instructor (the one in pink). The instructor had told me that it was ok to bring my video camera. She disagreed but allowed me to do it anyway. They didnt give me enough weight to counter the video cameras buoyancy so I had to struggle to get down to the bottom. She somehow interpreted this as me playing with the video camera. About half way thru the dive she decided that I needed some help and began to pull me down without telling me. I wasnt able to equalize the ear pressure quick enough which really hurt. So I headed back up to the surface. While I headed back towards the surface, she brought a very scared rookie diver (this guy was very lost even in the pool instruction) right below me and I accidently kicked his mask off . Apparently he went into a full blown panic attack about ten meters down. We met on the surface and she asked me for the camera, to which I willing gave it to her because I couldnt dive deep with it (not enough weight for the camera). I continued to dive for another 15 minutes and then ran out of gas (not O2, just plum tired). The gal took my camera back (along with the panicked rookie) to the shore, but she forgot to turn it off thats how I learned that I had kicked the rookies mask off.. she had a real potty mouth, blamed me and made a real drama about it. This same gal then shows up again while Im at the surface resting and decides I need help. So she tows me back (free ride ! LOL). I told her I was fine but she just kept on going so , hey, why waste a free ride back to shore , I am tired anyway, right?. She was a real drama queen..
At any rate, it was still fun. I understand how to dive now and I look forward to the next one. I even gave them a tip !
i can imagine i like panicked peaple man it makes me laugh
