Hey guys,

This song is a song which has tremendous meaning in my life.

I wrote this a few years back when I had a rotation at the the psychiatric hospital.

There were so many people in that hospital, stuck in a predicament nobody would ever want to be in.

These individuals lacked the support system, leading them to think such suicidal ideations.

I witnessed it first hand...and the saddest part was seeing little kids, as young as 5 or 6 years old, placed in this psych ward, for attempting to commit suicide.

From my experience at this hospital, I came home one night from my rotation there, and just sat at my piano, playing a tune over and over again...saying to myself...the world needs to "OPEN THEIR EYES!" and help these individuals.

Words can make or break a person, and we have the ability to lift each other up and make a difference.

Please, listen to the lyrics, because i hope this changes you in a positive way and may give some of you hope, while giving others the encouragement to be the "hope" that someone else in this worlds needs.

This song is AMAZING I was in a psych ward for S.I for about 4 months because i thought there was no hope Ive been depressed for 4 years and some days I dont even want to get out of bed but this is really uplifting thank you
