@jimmypier54 this was actually at Hofheinz Pavilion at the University of Houston, I was there. I still have some pictures I took.

@SD1Chargers Actually $6 is a bit much. The cheap seats were usually $2.50 - $3.50 back then and maybe $5 for up front. Unfortunately for you they would frisk you at the door for cameras and tape recorders, which is why there are so many undocumented or incomplete shows.

So...in 1971 the tickets were what...$6? Led Zeppelin had made, what, 20% of their music (if that)? And they were already the best ever...awesome film...I wish I could go back to that time (but miss the draft)

I think this was at the Sam Houston Coliseum, which was pretty much where all rock bands performed on their Houston stops. The Beatles played there, for example. It has since been leveled and replaced by a new performing arts theatre.
