In matters of spiritual living and planning, either/or thinking does not work and is flat out false. There are five dynamics of the Spirit (ecstasy/ethics, ardor/order, individuality/unity,autonomy/intimacy, etc) which can and should be planned for in any ministry or worship service. Standing "one-legged" on one side of a dynamic misrepresents God, leaves believers frustrated and makes unbelievers mock the church. Grasping the full polarity of each of the dynamics makes life and worship mysterious and mighty in the best sense of both words.
