Probably one of the best judgements of Kishore Kumar purely as a singer, as opposed to as a singing actor, was in Satyajit Ray's movie Charulata. He specifically wanted Kishore as playback for Soumitra for the song "ami chini go chini tomarey", when he coluld have chosen almost anyone. If one listens to that song, with eyes closed, one can feel the sheer carefree joy of youth gushing forth. It is this quality of his, which the French call " joy of living" that sets him apart from all others

The lyric  ,the composition by Gurudev ,sang by the the legend with a heavenly voice Kishoreda , and your uploading with the scenary of rural India through the window of a moving train brought so much joy , memories , pain and tears !! As I said, He sang numerous Gems, i Only Picked up 2 Kohinoors and 2 Kimberleys .

My taste may differ with any one and that is quite natural ,

but no one can disagree these four are from his best.

@rajratan106 Hello there..I respect your perspective towards KK but KK has literally thousands of songs to mention and its impossible..to pick and choose coz most of his songs are A class..and it alldepends with your individual taste..if I say Anewale kaal janewala hein from Golam to..oh majhi re from Khusboo..to of sathi re from muqaddar ka sikandar..the list will be way to vast my friend..Kk is our bengali as well a national treasure..

Thanks For Well Thought Comments, I would Like To remember the legend maily for his 4 songs. I wont say else were bad. but to me his 4 bests are 1.WOH SHAMAJEEB THE2. O HANSINI 3. NAYANA SARASI KENO 4. EAI JE NODI.

1sr of all thks for the upload..Kishore da was/is and will be un paralleled for his ability to sing as a versatile singer and keep in mind..his success wasn't limited to one regional language..In Bangla, Hindi,Bhojpuri ,Marathi and some Gujrati music he was indeed successfull...person who can sing A++ class Rabindra Sangeet then at the same time had the ability to sing:singh nei jaar naam taar shingho"what can I say? LEGEND is possibly the best title..Kishore da RIP and hat off to the legend.
