I would really hear your voice in a nightwish song, it so fits in there.

You have a good voice. No critique on that.
But the lyrics seem a little bit too hasty.
The way it's written, it's to direct. It is too much aimed at the mind. While your voice is aimed at the heart. It creates this duality. Blurrs the message.
I suggest you work on the lyrics a bit more. Get that flowness into the words let it flow like poetry.
