c'est parce que les chansons de l'opéra ont deux caractéristiques: la prononciation de toutes les syllabes les unes après les autres, et la répétition.
anna est superbe dans tous les opéras qu'elle chante. sa voix est tellement pure et claire. et elle a une présence sur scène inouïe... incroyable !!!

@fogazzaroful That is frankly idiotic. She wobbled on a couple high notes, but Callas' interpretation was rich and intelligent. Netrebko doesn't have the chromatics, agility, or breath control for an aria even as simple as this.

Thank you for posting this. Like defygravityy below, I, too, just saw Romeo & Juliet at Vancouver Opera (tonight, final performance) and was surprised to find I did know at least one aria in the opera--this one. This is a really fine performance by Netrebko, missing only the en scene dramatization to make it quite perfect, I think. Thanks again.

@sewmama Yes!!! I think that a lot of people wish to be on that stage and look the way she does - you know we all wish we could sing like that! simple as that..It seems like nothing is good enough for the opera lovers on youtube.. always trying to find flaws in all the great names of today - sumi jo, anna netrebko, natalie dessay, diane damrau.. But I love all of them! People are so negative nowadays.. They need to listen more instead of talking haha!
