Very interesting. They look like they're flying in a pretty consistent formation whatever they are.

@dahur As in star trek, when a civilization becomes capable of interstellar then they make first contact, so we avoid awkward random contact... which actually makes sense.

"Maybe they have directives in place similar to "the prime directive" in star trek"
I believe an advanced race WOULD have something like a no interference.
I also believe if they wished us ill intentions, it would have happened a long time ago. I think they view us as a warring planet. Since our beginnings we have always been fighting with somebody. With our nuclear weapons they have to monitor us, for the day we might develop interstellar capability. Then we become a threat...

@dahur Yea, mby. For most people, that transition would be traumatic. Besides, there might not even be looking for a peaceful first contact. Maybe their concept of time is slower than ours. Maybe we are just a zoo to them. Maybe they have directives in place similar to "the prime directive" in star trek :)

"I could get the hiding part, but what's with the tease?'
Wouldn't you want to periodically test this civilization to see if they still want to try and kill you?
Or what if you slowly wanted to acclimate this world, rather than all at once?

@olokun80 Nanotechnology isn't strange at all. Yes, you can combine nanotechnology with MDQP to alloy materials on a molecular level, that wouldn't go together normally. (E.g. glass with metals, DLC with cooper, rubber/wood with metals, etc.) It doesn't take much fantasy to see, such materials are used in the military industry, therefore, I won't tell you details. LENR (low energy nuclear reactions) are not as useful as many expect, because these are based on low yield quantum tunnel effects.
just looks like chinese lanterns to me

@1800ghostdance I thought so as well. No one , in the area, has an idea who did a launch. It is a small town of 7000 people. The town is at a loss. we hope more video or statments surface.
