  • (cont.) Next day, same thing, same number. This time I answered it & told her I had asked her once to quit calling & she refused so I was heading to the state Attorney General office. She didn't care. Yelled something about parents were responsible for their children's debt & so now I had to pay. What??? Told her to ass my kiss, puss-hole! Told her she & her shit company Portfolio are low-life, lying, cheating, cash-loving whoreslutters. I can't believe the stupidity of debt collectors.

  • Try calling me and I can give you some info on how you may be able to sue Portfolio Recovery Service.

  • The credit card industry didn't pay their bills, and they got a free check from Uncle Sam. Where is the economic stimulus check for my clients? How dare the bill collectors expect my clients to pay when the ones they work for are nothing more than free-loaders from the government at the expense of taxpayers.

  • Vicki Some of the actions that debt collectors, you referenced Portfolio Recovery Associates, seem ridiculous. I made a video reflecting such if you check it out by hitting on my username. However, my question if you are able to respond: Is there a place you can go to see past or current lawsuits against an agency? Thanks

  • I bet you'll see me in court. This is for a $300 dollar max limit credit card from HSBC. HSBC only needs $300 and that's like $350 for you. Someone just dreamed up some random numbers and now im expected to pay it? It would have been payed already if it wasn't such an outrageous fee.

  • I just got a call from some guy who said he was with Messerli and Kramer! He ask If I was who he was looking for, I said maybe and he laughed a little. He then said he was calling about a debt. I asked from who and he told me. I then asked how much and he said $650. I told him there was no way I was going to pay that and that it was more than twice as much as the card was worth. He then said I'll se you in court then, have a nice day and hung up.

  • i really dont get it wat is the debt do we ow something wat is it?

someone called my dad and said he owed 6000 and had to pay the account was payed and canceled years ago but they still say we ow money wat can we do??

  • "Well if people paid their bills they wouldn't be in this situation."

Real intelligent statement: this company was after me for a 8 year old debt which wasn't mine. I was the victim of identity theft, but they would not accept my answer even though it was never my debt. You mean collection agencies can harass people for debt that isn't theres?

Funny, when I told them to go f their mother and take me to court they dropped their complaint against me.

They were to lazy and had no guts.

  • There's nothing like the statute of limitations

to set you free, especially when you learn

to NEVER go back in debt again!

While you regret the past,at least you can do

better in the future. I do urge restitution be

made if at all possible BUT,the ones who are

rude will be at the BOTTOM OF THE LIST

    TO BE REPAID!

  • Through some fault of my own in the distant past,I learned to live within my means. I fell on hard times and made arrangements with creditors. Two of them LIED and ONE SUED! I then "threw the baby out with the bathwater." You should've heard how SPEECHLESS the P.R.A. rep was when I told her,"YOU CAN'T KILL A DEAD MAN!" Meaning my credit was ALREADY SCREWED and there was NOTHING that would change it! My answering machine takes them out and it's too bad for them! Statute of limitations
  • Now this garbage pail of theives disgusing themselves as "Portfolio Recovery Associates" are involved in a scam to steal from AT&T customers. If you answer their calls you receive a service fee on your AT&T phone bill. Only a terrorist organization would dare to so blatantly steal from innocent, hard-working families. Sumbitches. Filthy shitters who whoreslut for cash. Each of their lying, thieving employees should be in jail.

  • I have 2 kids and work full time, so its difficult to catch me at the right time and i have never caught and have been able to even answer the phone when they call.

I dont understand why when i try to call the number back it says it is disconected. I would think that they would want people to return their phone calls.

I have also never recieved a voicemail, i only know it is them because i googled it.
