Oh it's absolutely about ego, because if it were about the child they wouldn't be putting the kid through the trauma of realizing they don't look like their parents at all.

White people seem to be the only race that doesn't care about itself anymore. They have no pride of their heritage whatsoever and thus will be an insignificant minority in america and england within 50 years taking into account the lack of having children, numerous adoptions and rampant intermixing.
