Oh it's absolutely about ego, because if it were about the child they wouldn't be putting the kid through the trauma of realizing they don't look like their parents at all.

Madonna is a freak. She collects brown babies like some people collect tea cups. Imagine a man her age scavenging the globe for five-year-old girls that suit his fancy, then paying to cart them away.
