Didn't saban lose to la Monroe his first year at alabama? Yeah that's the game he suspended dj hall for, then let him come back after halftime because alabama was getting their ass kicked. Great disipline coach! Did Monroe have better talent? No, saban got out coached. Like when uab beat him at lsu. Saban only wins with talent; never with coaching or disipline. FYI, Auburn did out-recruit alabama this year. Rivals(the real recruiting experts) had Auburn 4 and alabama 5. You are a fuckin idiot.

@WarEagleSoulWest a fist fight? there were 3 guys against one and eric smith put that guy in the hospital. the cops had to pull him off of the guy when they got there. if one of sabans players did that he would be off the team. and saban didn't have to make marcel ineligable right now. and dj halls suspension for was 1 half not 1 game. he got into it with the qb at practice. not that big of a deal. most coaches wouldn't even suspend someone for that. but like I said saban doesn't take crap.

And if you didn't make Marcel ineligible Bama would get in the same trouble USC is getting in now. Eric Smith got in a fist fight, it was stupid and he was punished for it but he didn't mess up his eligibility by accepting gifts from an agent. There is a difference between team rules like no fighting and NCAA rules that determine if you're allowed to play or not.

@bamanation2010 Lol I wouldn't brag about how hard you are on your players. In 2007 when Bama lost to La. Monroe (lol) DJ Hall was supposed to be suspended for a violation of team rules but since they were losing and were about to get embarrassed Saban let him play (you still lost) That's real discipline there! And wow I'm so surprised another sidewalk Bama fan, congrats.

I mean eric smith tries to kill someone and he gets suspended for 2 games. wow!  and unfortunatly I do not go to bama because I live in Texas. it would be an honor though. I remember the first iron bowl I went to. Alabama beat yall 36-0

@bamanation2010 I just think it's funny that Marcell Dareus has been ruled ineligible. And the school has always been called Auburn even though it hasn't always been the official name. On the tickets to the first Iron Bowl ever it was entitled Auburn vs. Tuscaloosa(not Alabama) and I imagine with grammar like this "there are a lot more harder professions out there." you probably go to Alabama. @WarEagleSoulWest you don't have to be super smart to be an engineer. there are a lot more harder professions out there. I am not an engineer I'm still a student. and I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the name. I think auburn has a great program. I almost went there to get a degree in pharmacy. I just think it's funny that the last time "auburn" won a national championship it was called alabama polytechnic.
