Magnets can't produce (much) energy on their own, the motion of a magnet through a coil can produce electricity but the energy comes from the motion, not the magnet (this is a dynamo). In this case the bike is powered electrically by what is probably a DC motor (not a dynamo). That said your comment was massively more intelligent than our friend, "You're stupidity = epic?" Really?
