    I actually got bitten by a garter snake once, right between the thumb and index, and people always told me they were totally harmless! It drew blood, bit through the skin quite easily, but it didn't really hurt, still freaked me out though.

    I love snakes; they're so cute! But unfortunately they have so many health and safety problems that it wouldn't be worth living there, even though they're just garter snakes...
