In this interview Lauren really shows she has class. She could sit there laughing at him, making jokes that go over his head, but she treats him with respect. I think Karl's a really interesting guy, but it makes me feel uneasy that he's basically become famous for having the piss taken out of him. I salute her for rising above that and treating him kindly.

Wow, this clip was way ahead of its time. The 'Karltoon' seems an early preset to the animated HBO version of the podcast, and 'Karl's Culture Corner' would have been a very budget version of 'An Idiot Abroad'.
