Ajax Mini Walk of Hope - Siabh and her mother Chris - Interviewed by AjaxPickering.ca

An Interview with AjaxPickering.ca Publisher Brian Evely and Siabh McCarthy along with her Mother Chris. Siabh is the Co-Chair for the Ajax and Pickering Mini Walk of Hope which supports Ovarian Cancer Canada. Siabh has lost her sister Brenda and sister-in-law Judy to this disease. Siabh organized the walk for them and others like them. Over 100 walkers gathered by the shores of Ajax, in Rotary Park, for the 1st Annual walk of its kind in the area. Raising $24,000 directly from the day's participants, along with the generous support of Winners and Homesense who collect over $275,000 towards Ovarian Cancer Canada. Ovarian Cancer is a silent killer, but there is hope when women, men, and children band together to break the silence.
