Young Ryan Howard - 2K10 World Series Homerun BLAST!

In the game 2010 World Series Game @ Cal Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen MD (Aug. 18, 2010), YRH's Mid-Atlantic Team came back to defeat the Midwest Plains Team 9-8. The Local Newspaper reported the following: Mineral Area, which goes home without a win, led 7-1 through three innings. Bear scored twice in the top of the fourth inning after Brandon Fraley singled, Joe Otto doubled and Frank Burton III drove them both home with a single up the middle. In the top of the fifth, Bear went ahead 8-7 on two tape-measure home runs. Riley Hall blasted a two-run homer to center field with one out, and Burton turned around on a high-and-outside pitch for a two-out, three-run home run. Burton is entering seventh grade at Gunning Bedford Middle School. "My sweet spot," Burton said about the pitch. "As soon as I saw it go up and out toward the trees, I thought it was gone."

@TheChadp21 No.  It's the Cal Ripken Babe Ruth World Series, held in Aberdeen MD every year. The kids are 12 years old and it's like the LL World Series. You have teams from all Regions of the United States, as well as, International Teams competing for the WS Championship.

in 2007 my 11 year old team made it to the regional tournament, i played for the glade valley wildcats and i won the home run derby in the tournament, best summer of my life

this kid has an average swing and hits homeruns now because he's big. im telling you at age 15 if he dosent get that swing right it wont be as good as it is now. i would know im getting recruited to play college baseball and UNC. I saw this and clicked on it. great job for him on winning these awards though thats a great achievement.
