This video is an interview collage featuring scientists discussing wind energy development and potential impacts to wildlife. It features European scientists Dr. Tony Fox and Dr. Rowena Langston, and BRI scientists Dr. Jim Paruk, Dr. Iain Stenhouse, Wing Goodale and Kate Williams.

    Since birds use magnetic fields to navigate, because of the magnetite in the beaks, perhaps a system that uses magnetic fields to reroute them around the turbines, like an ultrasonic sound is used to keep dogs away from people. Not super powerful that would send them in the opposite direction, but just enough that would keep them from harm's way.
