This is done slowly so others can see the movement, but still maintains the flow of the kata.If you know this kata and see something wrong, please tell me. It has been a long time since I received instruction in it. Thanks for watching!

  • Pretty good technique! All I can do is comment based on the way I learned it.

When I learned it, the last two moves were stepping backwards with the guard into shiko dachi, and then stepping forwards with a high thrust (instead of low thrust), ending up in moto dachi.

Please note that I am not challenging your validity. My method comes from the way Oshiro Sensei taught us, and the last time I trained with him was back in 2008.

    Keep up the good work.

  • @ndunabomber Cool! Thanks for the variation. That is the way of the RBKD ne?!

  • I'm Nakandakari, too...!

I know many things about Nakandakari...

there's a castle, a shore and an island in Okinawa with our name. and they're really familiar as my father told. I didn't know there were a karate style about this.

  • heay looking good I think the next thing to work on is just after you flip the sai out as soon as it begins to move back start to move your body for the next move. I know this was slow but its sometng that takes alot of work

  • that looks good

  • Hi:

My name is Juan Nakandakari and my ancestors came from Okinawa, I did know that there was some kind of family karate, but what I didn't know is that actually what you are showing is a kata with our name. Could you tell me more about that please?

    Thanks

    Juan
