Humans need to really THINK before doing anything - we are a race of destruction whether its animals, birds, people, environment - THINK FIRST! Stop going around your busy lifestyles making money and never thinking for anyone or anything else. These parrots are beautiful - I have an Amazon - they are a lot of work and noisy but very rewarding. Don't buy and pay hundreds of pounds to these money making schemers. Adopt a homeless parrot. There are so many unfortunately. Start caring.

@wildlifeguardian Peaches has been doing FULL TIME nesting activities. I nearly fill her house with apple tree branches which she turns into saw dust. Now during New Moon, her hormones are surging as well. Albert has just discovered CHEWING. card board, wood, but not furniture as yet. ha ha ha

All our Parrots, (Baby&Piggy-male Quaker Parrots); Mischka&Frieda (female Quaker parrots), Albert (Male white cockatoo), and Peaches (Salmon Crested Cockatoo female) are rescued. I support Parrot acquisition by RESCUE ONLY. GOd knows that there are FAR too many Parrots, waiting and just trying to survive harsh conditions in need of RESCUE. thanks for uploading this video. Exactly, that would be a fear that I would have having any pet as I reach the end of my life.....who will take care of my pets....and the way that I do.
back again, and I shared this on my face book account. and YES! cockatoos (as all parrots) can stress a person out big time.

@TravellerFellow:
Are Albert and Peaches getting on your nerves a bit, too?
Nana is trying my patience...but what can you do but love 'em to pieces...sigh...

Very good video, and a necessary info site for those considering parrot ownership. Guess I will stick to parakeets until I retire and get to stay home all day!

And then there is the problem that they could outlive you...I worry about that every day...the big parrots just weren't meant to be pets...sigh...
