A tiny bit of simple software on a Game Boy says Merry Christmas, says one of a few quotes, and then scrolls on the CSH Logo for a little while. The front half's ribbon cable has been extended so the cartridge and motherboard are safely on the inside.
The backlight is an electroluminescent panel. Unfortunately this LCD has some horizontal lines, which is why I used it - if some chump breaks it, it's not the end of the world.

@Jondawg87 The game boy's joypad interface is damaged, and so is the LCD... I have dozens of motherboards. This game boy is unusable for game play. If anything it's recycling what would otherwise be garbage.

I just wouldnt hang it on my dorm door. Thats just me... without a doubt its a cool neat idea! Perfect for this season :)

@icyds It's more secure than you can tell by the video :P If anyone stole it anyway I'd still have the motherboard and cartridge
