Dead Elk found in Idaho Mudhole - weird but true

The big bull fell into the pit and could not get out.

The meat was not edible.lol

This elk could have eventually become a fossil, far in the future, if conditions were right.

Now admittedly, there is the curiosity factor such as wondering whether the whole elk was beneath the surface and determining a guess as to the depth of the hole, but wasn't there something else to be doing in such a beautiful location? Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed the video and apparently you folks enjoyed the challenge of dragging the poor creature from his murky grave. I guess we all benefit if we all enjoyed ourselves.
