I mainly only used 3 chars up to this point which gives that result. But for fast levels you can easily grind otherworldly gate...

Oh, you mean the GOOD ones. Well, I've all but abandoned JRPGs, with the exception of TRPGs anyhow. There's a new Tales game on its way, those are always good. To be fair whenever I play an JRPG, I expect myself to love either the story or the battle system. It's rarely ever both. Not since Grandia really. Turn-based works for me I suppose, I can usually count on Western RPGs for story AND combat, though I would like to see some prettier worlds.

@MachinaWeapon I'm not the hardcore RPG player anymore, so I only see what really scratches the mainstream surface.

Just so you get notice, the last RPGs I saw where Valkyrie Profile for the DS, Valkyrie Chronicles and Disgaea (the new one).

If you can forward me to RPGs with a great battle action system (e.g. VP, SO3, Tales of and such), let me know
