I really liked the Riu Varadero Hotel. I stayed in the Royal Club Section and I think that I made a great decision. I heard many people that stayed in the standard section rooms were unhappy. Checkout the Riu Varadero Facebook page.

@limpcats - I just bought the Canon Vixia MFM40 yesterday with a 32 gb class 10 sd card. I've been
trying all the functions out and I like it. This video camera I just bought replaced my Panasonic mini dv pv-gs500 standard definition video camera.
I arrive at the Riu Varadero on November 24 and will take lots of picture and record lots of video. I will post the videos to YouTube when I get back.

This is the best video I have seen for this resort. Excellent job on the video. This video you made was one of the reasons why my wife and I booked here for November this year. What type of HD video camera did you use? I'm looking at getting the Canon HF20 video camera. The HD video looks amazing and I think it's time i retire my Panasonic pv-gs500 mini dv camcorder.

@PolishHammer1000 I used the Canon 60D DSLR with an ultra wide angle lens (Tokina 11-16mm). I like this camera b/c it has a good dynamic range, and good low light....but its way too expensive if you are just looking for video, and its all manual focus :). If I was just looking for a Camcorder I would be looking at the Canon VIXIA HF G10.
