I had Mr FresH2O (Freshwater...get it? hehe) in 7th grade. I don't remember him burning crosses or teaching anything religious. Just science. He was interesting and I still remember almost everything he ever taught me.

Anyone who has followed this case and read the reports on the testimony given at the hearing, should realize that there are other Freshwaters in the Mount Vernon schools. There is a proselytizing fundamentalist religious cult . Education for those teachers is secondary. Teaching the students not to trust science and creating a Taliban like atmosphere.
Teachers openly defying state guidelines.

"Why would following the direction of an administrator be "acts of malfeasance"? "
Duh, I think they knew someone was going to jail, so, hide the weapon!

The last paragraph that he did not read--I will interpret it.
"Either pay me to go away or I and my attorney will drag this out for another year or more and cost the taxpayers several more hundreds of thousands of dollars."
"Mr. Freshwater testified that he was told by an administrator to destroy the Tesla coil."
Sir, thank you. You just confirmed his acts of malfeasance with the lab equipment.

I would like to know why Mr. Freshwater destroyed the Tesla Device used to burn crosses
on students arms.

Mr. Freshwater testified that he was told by an administrator to destroy the Tesla coil.
The allegation of the burn was included in the HROC report, but Mr. Freshwater contests that anyone was burned.

Typical...won't let him finish his statement.

It would have been nice if the board had allowed Mr. Freshwater to finish--but there is a three minute rule for those that speak during the public participation portion of the meeting.
(When Mr. Freshwater spoke to the board on August 4, 2008 he was allowed to go over the time limit.)
