  • To go green is nowadays so easy with electric bicycles and electric ebikes scooter style ;-) and use the car only in winter and long distance travel ;-)

  • @DirkME1022 exactly! "My primary transportation is a e-bike,,,I've ridden my Wisper 10 months out of the year in the winter city of Edmonton, I'll post some YouTubes my experiences with winter e-bike riding here.

  • @hawkeyicockburn I have checked them out and I would love to hear about your pros/cons about that ebike. Specially in the daily use in up hill commuting, shopping, range support (strength) and so on ;-) Thanks for sharing ;-)

  • @DirkME1022 There are so many products to choose from - sales of e-bikes seems slower in Western Canada compared to Asia and Europe- Edmonton has a river valley laced with steep hills and extreme weather conditions in summer and winter. My bike has held up the extremes with minimal wear and damage so far. It responds well on hills and improves the more the rider is willing to pedal hard. (can still break a sweat). I average 25 kilometres of hard hills and fast speed per charge (30K)
