I agree with the poster, who is monitoring the people who monitor us? We the people are being watched by whom? well, it aint the people we elect, thats for sure. I'd like to see companies like Verizon go on trial, but we know they are blackmailed by the FCC and others to make sure this spysoftware is installed on every phone. Why do you people think the Justice Dept hasn't come down hard on Spyware manufacturers? Because the Feds are their biggest buyers! And just recently, a mass credit card number scam happened where millions of numbers were stolen. One of the suspects "Just Happened" to be a Secret Service Snitch Bitch. Typical in this Bush Era.

US govt had this capability a long long time ago. now that the public is aware of it's existance, the govt had to come up with a good excuse to keep using it. Virtually all communications in and out of the USA are monitored electronically by eschelon and the new carnivore systems. black boxes that dont give a rats ass whos wife your nailing or what Betty did for that raise. Relax, as long as you are not planning on doing something very very wrong, you have nothing to worry about. Y'all be good
