I remember this SL. They did a wonderful touching job with this. Its hard not to cry when you see all the pain from Lyla and Margo.

One last thing. Casey wanted to be taken off life support if he was ever put on it so he could die with dignity. Casey wouldn't ask his wife Lyla to do it because he knew she wouldn't have the strength. He wouldn't ask his colleague and friend, Duke to do it because he was afraid it would jeopardize Duke's career as a doctor. So Margo was the only one he could turn to. Casey being a doctor himself, knew he wasn't going to make it.

Katie was still just a baby when her father, Casey, died. So she doesn't really remember him much. She knows everything about him, how he was so much younger than he mother, that he loved her and her mother very much, and how he was a good man and doctor. The only thing Katie doesn't know about her father is that her big sister, Margo, unhooked him from life support.

Margo honored Casey's memory by naming her second son after him, who was the only child that she and Tom had together.

Casey Peretti was Lyla's husband. He was so much younger than Lyla, but that didn't keep them from loving each other. Margo was fond of him and thought he was a good man, good enough for her mother, Lyla. Casey became ill and didn't want life support and asked Margo to unhook him, if he was ever put on it so he could die with dignity. Casey and Lyla had a child together before he became ill, Katie Peretti.
