@SonjaSahar You illustrated the problems with the average vegetarian in your last two sentences. In the next to the last, you claimed the right to be a vegetarian because it's your own choice, then in the last one, you lamented your parents eating meat...which is their choice. Vegetarians seem incapable of NOT trying to push their beliefs on others.
I am 13 years old and I am now almost 1 year a pesco-vegetarian. When I am 1 year a pesco-vegetarian I don't eat meat anymore. It is my own choise and I do it because I love animals. But my parents eat meat :(...
@pisser98 I'm afraid that isn't an argument against - instead, that argument is used by vegans in support of their choice. If you can stop the pain of animals by changing your diet then it should be done, says vegans. It is because of our advancement does it allow a vegan diet to be without the consequences that would've came from a diet that lacked critical nutrient in the past.
Just because it wasn't possible then doesn't make their stance any less. I am not a vegan on any counts; I eat meat.
nature would have killed vegetarians, back in the good old times of human evoultion...
being vegetarian is a luxury of our progress, the only reason, vegetarians dont get sorted out into death by nature, is because humans are the absolute peak of the food chain, we do not have to fear natures rage anymore (well...sort of...)
You forgot to mention that some (most) vegetarians avoid meat for legitimate ethical reasons, as opposed to just thinking that animals are cute.
Like that fact that industrial farming (in addition to being horrendously inhumane) tends to destroy the surrounding environment. It's an air- and water-borne health hazard, as well.
I'm a pescatarian, myself, and I endorse MissCatWoman in saying that having an unusual diet that you actually monitor can do wonders for your health.
@SonjaSahar Eat 100% grass fed meat and pastured eggs. Stay away from processed meats and CAFO meats. You will be healthy.

one simple argument against vegetarians:
nature would have killed vegetarians, back in the good old times of human evoultion...
being vegetarian is a luxury of our progress, the only reason, vegetarians dont get sorted out into death by nature, is because humans are the absolute peak of the food chain, we do not have to fear natures rage anymore (well...sort of...)
