Shawn Johnson. Heart.

I made this montage a long time ago, like after day 1 of 2008 nationals. You could tell there was so much pressure on Shawn during the whole 2008 year. I felt so bad for her because there were so many expectations and she lived up to every single one. I know everyone uses the poem from Shawn but it really fit this montage so I kept it in :) I love Shawn so much and I pray that she can live up to her expectations like she did in 2008 when there was so much pressure on her. Shawn definitely has the most heart of every single gymnast out there. Nobody wants this as much as she does. And the best part? She isn't even coming back to win a medal. She just wantes to be on the team to represent her country. I wish every gymnast had the same attitude as hers.

Shawn you are truly a champion. You have overcome great odds to get back to where you were in 2008. Even if your comeback ended right now I'd be incredibly proud of you because you've given everything to this sport and you are still going strong. You have given so much to the sport and it has been an absolute joy getting to watch you in your comeback and throughout your whole career. You are such an amazing person and an amazing gymnast. No matter what happens you will always be my favorite gymnast. We love you Shawn!

@thomastiegs lol oh no I don't do gymnastics haha I used to be a cheerleader but I need reconstructive surgery on my ankle so I'm done cheering. Thanks though!

@thomastiegs No I need to have reconstructive surgery if I ever want to tumble again and I don't want to have the surgery because it's not guaranteed to make it better. I'm 19 so I'm over the hill in cheerleading and gymnastics unfortunately :( I did cheer in college my freshman year and this year until I got hurt but the team really sucks so it's not even worth it to go back
