For a while I've wanted to record a straight-up cover using a live approach, and make a video out of the actual performances. This is a great song from 1994 by the band Toadies, who had an awesome record called "Rubberneck."

Gear info:
Atlansia Stealth bass (direct)
Ibanez Roadstar II guitar, Ampeg V3 tube amp, Amplitube, Ibanez Tube Screamer
Roland V-Drums
Pro Tools
tons of limiting

  • @theDemon302 ah, he's probably playing some character there ;)

  • everything is awesome but you way too chill on those drums

  • Very Nice..You could use some work on the Jesus, Jesus, Jesus part though..lol. You aren't saying it with enough brain washed slavery.

  • Nice work.

  • I cant hit that B in the vocals before the guitar solo/breakdown thing=(

  • The rhythm guitar needs to be louder.
