    Actually, Scar just took Kovu under his wing and groomed him to be his successor.He isn't actually related to Scar at all. There's even a line where Nuka says, specifically, "Scar wasn't even his father! He just took him in..." when he's complaining about Kovu getting so much attention.So Scar and Kovu have no blood relation to each other. This fact is reiterated a few times during the film, so it seems like the people who made TLK2 wanted to make it very clear that there was NO incest going on.
