Males develope black on there forarms.Females have what looks like a little tail.Females also get bigger then males.The cost of a clawed frog vary.

i saw where some 1 said they have 6 ina 40 gallon tank that is 2 too many there should only be 4 in a 40 gallon ist 10 gallons of water for 1 frog

hey you seem to know alot... i got 4 ACFs 2 are looseing there tails right now and 2 are just growing there legs... for the older ones once they start breathing air what do you feed them... i have been dropping fish food crums on them but i havnt seen them eat... inform me if you got info! thanks!!!!

HBH frog and tadpole bites are a great choice.You could try earth worms cut into small bits,if your brave.Also remove froglets once tail is absorbed.They could eat the smaller one's.

remember that these frogs get really big when frull grown they need 10 gallons of water per frog. If u wanna breed and u get male & a female u need a 20 gallon tank not 10 isnt enough room .u can keep them in a 10 until they look like they are out growing the tank, they will need more room ,females are chubbier,males are slimer ,males have red vaines on their forarms,males have flat butts females dont & femalesbutt area have a small tube for eggs and waste.its really tiny not like a tail

They get 4" to 6" inches long when full grown.You need about five gallons per adult frog.Yes a bigger tank is always better.If you have good filteration tank size is not a issue.These frogs tend to bunch up in one corner.Thanks for your comment.

Hi, please can you help? i woke to find little eggs all over my tank this morning! when do i have to remove the frogs and does the spawn need a heater cos my frogs are living at room temperature. would really appreciate any help cos i've secretly hoped for this to happen and i don't want my froggies to die!

Hope you have removed your frogs.Yes you need a heater.Raise temp of water slowly deg. a day 78 deg should be fine high.Hope this helps you. denny
