  • u're well ahead on the curve for most people your age. Whatever u decide to do, I'm sure it'll be the right choice, and I hope u decide to share. Luv luv luv your hair, and hope your hand feels better.

  • @maximuslyricus Yup, all OVER the place! Glad it's normal. lol! These are great suggestions especially #2. I never really thought about doing it gradually. My idea of self employment is go big or go home. lol! I suppose that doesn't last long... I will share whichever route I take, probably giving you all updates along the way. Thanks for the suggestions and compliment!!!

I hope my hand gets better too. It's no fun. Hopefully my next job will consist of less typing.

  • How old are you? Lol

  • @Jolley185 I'm 25 and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. lol! I took a couple of years off of school also.

  • Also the APA or the APS would be great sources to find out all of the avenues you can take towards your goal :-) If I find any other useful info, I'll message you pronto!

  • @Goddess298 Cool! I've been to the APA website before... I forgot all about them as far as avenues. Thanks!! I'll try to do the same.

  • I have my bachelors in Finance and like you I just want to help people, so I did decide on Occupational Therapy..so now i'm waiting to see if I got into grad school *insert panicked face* .Aaaaand I'm 27 and I'm still trynna get my life together..I am jealous of your 25 yr status. :)

  • @jaybby04 Ok, thanks!

And I meant to write: "I *wouldn't* mind...." (I hate typos)

  • even if its only thru volunteer work and/or classes. Later, when u can afford it, u'll be able to further pursue whatever u've learned that u have an interest in or passion for. 2 I don't know if u have already, but think about the possibility of becoming self employed, even if only for a few hours each week. I think that this is the most sure way to financial independence, which leads to freedom to choose to do whatever u desire to do with your life. U've bought a house, so

  • U sound like u're all over the place regarding your choice of careers - which is absolutely normal for your age. I think a couple of things - 1 Your choice should probably be dictated by your financial needs and your passion/curiosity. If u can afford it, try whatever u want to try. You're young with probably as few responsibilities as u'll ever have, so now is definitely the best time to try new things. If u can't afford it, do what u have to do, but squeeze in time to satisfy your curiosity,
