@FurianPA Yes, that is the reason. In an online interview on NPR he said he "is completely bored with most of the songs and has to get completly wasted before and during the set and it leads to some drunken rambles.." hes not that all important that every word he says is genius, hes talking about nothing, get on with the show!

@evilerg No, that's not the reason.In the TownHallMeeting for the 20thAnniversary of Nevermind, he stated that he HAS to be WASTED in order to perform on stage(due to anxiety).There was TOTAL silence, no joke.Even Krist Novoselic said, "Oh, that's not good, Dave". I hope one day he gets help.
