The Almost are not even metalcore, Aaron quit because he didn't want to make music like this anymore. In a recent interview I read, it says he spoke to the guys of Underoath and said how awesome this disc was, and it wouldn't have come out like this if he were still in the band. The guys took this as a good sign and are continuing. So get over it and enjoy!

@TheCDVigil especially because the They're Only Chasing Safety album is the only one that didn't sound like Underoath. If you go back and listen to the first three albums, and then skip They're Only Chasing Safety, and listen to all the other ones, which have Spencer on vocals, they sound more like Underoath with Dallas Taylor now than they did on They're Only Chasing Safety.

@huntert2194 Exactly! I remember watching an interview with Dallas Taylor a while back and they asked him if he felt Underoath was the same band and he said Underoath will always be Underoath regardless of who's in it.

I just love how so many people say Underoath sucks now, just because they don't have Aaron. That just shows whose a fan of Underoath, and whose a fan of Aaron. I personally love both, but people don't understand that Underoath didn't even get big until They're Only Chasing Safety, which all the same members who are here now except Aaron. So why do they need to change their name? Why can't they call themselves Underoath? These are the guys who made Underoath amazing.Not just aaron, the whole band
