I found the best way to get these bonus tracks is buy the regular CD then pay 99 cents or so downloading the individual bonus songs. Then adding them to the regular CD.
You can get Japanese edition and have bonus tracks. At the age of Internet it's not difficult. Imagine there were no bonus tracks on Japanese edition at all - no incentive to get it! It doesn't really matter if those bonus tracks were released in Japan, Kenya or Bushmenia. The point is, there are bonus tracks somewhere to hunt for!
It's a way of ensuring that overseas sellers will promote and sell the albums. It also provides extra incentive for Japanese fans to actually go out and buy the album. The same happens in many other countries.
