Thank you Andrew for showing us how to make a rocket stove! I better get to it before the apocalypse on December 21st.. lmao. I'm totally just kidding! I do think this would be an awesome survival item for cooking, and the skills acquired from making one of these is priceless. I think more people need to learn survival skills. I think we depend on technology so much, that most of the population wouldn't survive if they were lost in the woods. Thanks for being an educator, and teacher!

thank you very much for your very kind comment.

i've always had the thought that education should begin with the basics and work it's way up. perhaps we should teach children how do manage food and water issues before math?

warm wishes to you and hope you're having a great holiday.

Is it not a little bit short? Just from others I have seen made, it would appear the same sized pipe is used for matching with the height of a 44 gallon drum. I dont understand the exact physics but I sure would like to konw how the ratios work.

Buy a dremel or rotozip, makes the process a breeze ...and it can do the file job too!

I'm really baked, so I'm kind of skipping through and the order went as follows.

    1. Techno intro

    2. What you'll need with great emphasis on leather gloves

    3. Cutting the bucket open without using gloves.

    lol.
