@langescg yes it's very easy to know his age if you have the year you only have to add ten, for example..in 1940 he was 50..that's all GREAT GIGLI THE BEST TENOR EVER!

Gigli was the greatest tenor of his era, indeed, coming forward to the operatic world today. He had the stellar voice teacher, Enrico Rosati, as did James Melton and film actor, Mario Lanza. Rosati's technique was such that Gigli could sing many songs "after" an operatic performance, the real Art of Singing

The song is called QUANDO''A FEMMENA VO'... Also called Turì-Turì-Turò. The lyrics are from Giovanni Ingentino and the music by Vincenzo de Crescenzo. Its in Napolitanian.
The refrain is in english:
