I have two century golanis purchased from Jand G sales. serialed GLN009XX and another GLN034XX .
The higher serial number had a cartridege stick in the chamber after firing. It took a fist hammering to get the bolt carrier to move back. The bolt didnt eject the cartridge and I had to knock the cartridge loose from the muzzle using a brass rod. The bolt carrier while racking back has a slight hang up, which has to do with how the bolt is moving in the reciever. This allowed the head space to get WAY out during cycle and the cartridge locked up in the chamber. This all happened after about putting the first 100 rounds through it.

this video shows how it hanging up .

  • Here's 2 simple rules to ensure that you NEVER have any problems with a Century Arms weapon of any kind...

    1) Never buy a Century Arms weapon.

    2) Never trust your life to a Century Arms weapon.

When in doubt, and something looks tempting, like perhaps one of the epic-fail parts kits WASR's, or the illustrious G3 wanna-be "sporter," or even the ever so tempting fake ass FAL.....simply refer to rule #1 and #2, and you'll be just fine.

(go ahead fanboys, flame it up. You know you wanna)

  • @AGeekWithAShotgun Oh it's a gun huh?!?!?! Get on your face and give me 25!!! It's a Rifle or a Weapon!!! (sorry usmc flashback)

  • Gotta love people who spend 1k on PTR91 and still have issues. Might be a design flaw.... same goes for c93.. by HK or the cheaper. Might have a bad weld somewhere in the reciever. o well that hangup aint bad... little things like that are whatever. here is the deal spend a ton of maoney on a real hk and be afraid to break it, or buy one of these... I sent back a c93 and got a really good replacement. Just say I want the gun you Gave TED NUGENT. They obviously made sure his shit worked

  • GET ON CAMERA AND SHOW ME YOUR WARFACE FAT BODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Have a century WASR 10 /63/UF underfolder put 55 rounds through it wolf and some russian didnt jam shot fine have to zero it in some. Gonna do a review on it.

  • @coldflesh I bought a Century Arms Wasr 10-63 UF and it is strictly a range toy.... its a hell of a lot of fun, but when lives are in the balance... I'll reach for my S&W MP15.

  • You take a chance with Century builds. I'm lucky, I have four which all function perfectly. Although, I have heard horror stories. You need to do your research prior to buying, investigate the possible issues, and know what to look for. Purchasing from a reputable dealer, who will support the product after the sale, is a must. I would never buy a Century gun from an individual I don't know and trust.

  • @coldflesh we're not all rich old men that can afford to buy the very best.

Some of us want the gun but don't want to pay scalper prices for rare pre ban imported rifles like all you middle aged mid life crisis men do.

  • My friend has one of those by Century, I guess he is fortunate no not have any problems. I hear alot of smack talk about Century Arms, is it REALLY that bad?

  • i think guns are like art but with metal ..so if any ends up with a problem its because the machinist or person building the weapon wasn't up to par or feeling to great or rushed through it .. but those galonis are sweet ...nice wepons

  • Where are there Galils that are not Century built??

  • i want one
