Australian band TISM are known for there hybrid of dance music and rock'n'roll, high-energy live shows and humorous lyrics. TISM's songs frequently satirise modern culture, celebrities and the entertainment industry, classic literature and art, current affairs, politics and sport. The titles of their songs are often wordplays created by juxtaposing pop culture references and/or more intellectually highbrow identities.

So here is Tism doing The Australian National Anthem at the Old St kilda Football Club and they Gave it to the guy who Talked about terrorist threats alot John Howard.

  • Don't remember this from my copy of the DVD, must have been a later version. This was from the Community Cup one year I think about 2004.

  • AWESOME! Awesome awesome awesome!

  • These guys rok.....timeless.....

  • @nwjh1957 Fair enough. I can't say I am familiar with the bulk of thier work. A few people who I know said years ago thier concerts were very crazy and fun. Thats why a political rant threw me. Very sad to hear about guitarist and cancer. That terrible. I retract my previous statement entirely...

  • @carouselcarouse TISM wore costumes from their first gig; it wasn't for this performance. Ron is making a point here about how things were at the time, and the "Phillip Ruddock Blues" was another take on this. They said their mind and enjoyed the music, and their fans loved them. TISM stopped performing when the guitarist died from cancer. And what party did they side with? They disliked the Libs and Nats, but they never backed anyone. A high opinion of himself? Listen to some of their songs!

  • where is this easter egg?
