Super 8mm film - Roadside

This is a short Super 8MM Film I made titled (like the song) ROADSIDE - It's not supposed to make sense to people because its more of a personal journey both literally and metaphorically, a journey that I didn't even know I was going through until some self reflection of the past year. Enjoy.

Nice editing work. Great stuff. I would have recommended a better transfer than a workstation which is what this looks like it was done on. You really needed the 2:3 pull down during frame scanning to get rid of all the flicker. Next time try Spectra film. Nice piece though. I like it. Thank you for sharing.

yeah I would have like to do a real transfer, but i didn't want to spend the cash, super 8 is now expensive enough. I'll save the real transfers for the bigger projects. Thanks for the tip for the pull down i'll make sure I do that on the next one.

I love shooting super8, I wish I can do more, i just need to find more time and allow for more expenses to go in to it some projects, I just love the super 8 imagery produced and making a music video of it. Be sure to show me a link to your work.

Spectra Film and Video in Hollywood offers Super 8mm film stock. Prices are reasonable and include processing. About $20- 35.00 per 50 ft roll. Stocks include Kodak 100 Daylight reversal, Vision 3 Negative 200T and 500T and (2) Kodak B&W stocks. Pro8mm.com splits 35mm into 8mm stocks and offer over a dozen different ones. Excellent grain and color saturation. Spectra will process stocks but you'll pay the price.. For transfer to hard drive or DVD I recommend Larsen Digital.

Fuckin' beast. I have a (1978) Super 8mm Kodak. It takes 8mm B&W, and Silent Color. I was looking online for some websites that sell the film and I don't have any film for it. Do you know any good websites that you can order super 8mm kodak?
