  • A part of Giras charm is that he isnt acknowledged by magazines like Rolling Stone or networks like MTV - lets keep him pure & untouched by that sort of filth.

  • Gira is amazing, he's like a fine wine, his guitar playing and singing has just gotten better and better. If it were up to me he would be on the cover of Rolling Stone to say the least!

  • no, you're right actually ;)

  • it's on Various Failures actually.

  • @HateDisease He is a brilliant musician and deserves as much acknowledgement as possible. "Pure & untouched" is nothing but naively romanticizing poverty.

If he had more acknowledgment he would not have to bother about collecting money for recording the next SWANS album—he could just do it.

  • beautiful

  • sucks about the hot mic, this is a great song.

  • It's amazing how versatile he is with his music. I just listened to the song "Right Wrong" from Swans and it's crazy how different this is.

  • Thanks! New Michael Gira videos are always great to see. The song is actually on the album "Sing Other People" though.
