actually, I wasn't either, until I found out that something could be contaminated with diseases like E.Coli in just 5 seconds... yeah. I don't use the 5 second rule any more :D
but hey, it may all depend on where on the ground you drop it. :D
Ugh, it's just a superstition. No more credible than the belief that breaking a mirror will cause bad luck.

Actually it's proven that the rule isn't right. There will get bacteries at the food no matter what. We're all filled with bacteries!!!
