Azerbaijani Student Film Festival

The Annual Azerbaijan Student Film Festival will be a one day presentation and celebration of independent films produced by Azerbaijani youth across the country. This grassroots project is a result of local students coming together with a desire to share their hard-work and see their completed project on the big screen. Through a national film festival, youth can encounter the diversity and richness of Azerbaijan and explore new outlets of self-expression. Participants will also have the chance to test the technical film-making skills they acquire during trainings and clubs. Currently, this project has the support of community organizations and individuals - in our surrounding regions. The project already has advertisement channels and an ideal venue lined-up for a significantly reduced cost. Your donations will contribute to the travel costs for local youth to attend the event, the remaining cost of renting the venue for one day, as well as equipment and set-up costs involved in displaying the films.
