@aaaaaaaaooooooo Muscle memory is kinda of a big thing.... alot of players have played thousands of hours and their muscle memory is key to them winning.....

@HanDaimond 0:31 - If there is at least a kick distance away from Dee Jay and his opponent, the third kick will always miss but the 1st, 2nd, and 4th will hit.

@aaaaaaaaooooooo Just playing the game so much, you get to know exact moments when characters leave themselves open. Also, they study the game a ton as well, looking for any gap in frames which they can punish.

0:31 dj super has the first 2 hits invincibility, so the 3rd hit is slower giving time to gief to kick either standing or in crouch position, just wait dj kicks 2 times

@aaaaaaaaooooooo if you play the game like about a thousand times, you get to figure out a few tricks of advantage. For example, if you block Ryu's Sweep into hadoken from the farthest range possible, you have enough time to do a reversal before the fireball touches you and Ryu is still stuck in his animation.

0:31 how did Daigo know he should kick? Like, when does that situation come up?
1:02 how the heck did he do that?

The distance between gief and deejay was enough for gief to execute a kick. Trial and error shows a player whats the best move to use in all situations. Daigo guessed his opponent wouldnt combo that taps correctly and that leaves time for a spd
