Jehovah's Witnesses (Fred Franz speech about 1975)

Fred Franz was the fourth president of the Watchtower Bible & tract society of the Jehovah´s witnesses. He was the responsible of teaching a "new light" given by god to his "Government body" in New York by 1966 announcing the Armagedon for 1975, with the destruction of Babylon the Great and the great harlot.
Finally this prophecy was proven false as other false prophecies given in the past, by Russell for Armagedon for 1914 and Joseph Rutherford for Armagedon for 1925.

Anyhow, the scriptures that you quote are technically correct but anyone can quote from the Bible or a textbook.

However it's your choice of scripture which reveals your true colours. Without doubt you will not be allowed to rule over or judge anyone.

@Sandalsnoshoes i know what you feel. My mother too...and also i think it would kill her or drive her crazy. We had a demon in our house and it drove everybody mad. Never gave a decent oppetun. to tell the truth. frustrating...and yet so understandible but frustrating. this is what a demon wants you to get. We are all individuals remember that. been born alone/die alone and have my personal relation to Yeshuah. bless you for that you know!

@megthepearl Meg, the problem with your statement is that for anyone to believe that this Jehovah you worship is the true God of Abraham, then they would have to believe that he is a blithering idiot who makes false promises and false predictions. Most people have an awesome respect for their God and would never consider the idiocy of your church.

@curiouskitten1976 My mother has been a JW since 1968 and to this day she denies all of this. I have shown her their own literature about this, tapes of speeches, etc. it doesn't matter to her even though she preached this to our own family members. At this point in her life (she's 63) if she did realize the real truth I think it would kill her. We just try to tolerate her. I would tell you that if you know of anyone considering having a bible study with these people do everything to stop them.

@JahisGod1 go to the united nations website and type in watchtower, 1 word and u will see their application for removal as a NGO. so yes they were members. check for urself

I have been having a lot bof doubts about the Watchtowe society for about a year and a half. I use to eagerly go to all the meetings, out in field service all the time, and study regularly. But when a brother that spent over 25 years threatened to diosfellowship me and other sisters if I didn't leave a domestic violence shelter to return to my physically, sexually, and verbally abusive, cheating, non-believing husband, I was shocked. I wondered how he could act like that, now I know.

JW's constantly drip fed the importance of 1975!...they had public talks on it & included it in their literature highlighting the end of the 6000 yrs of mans creation on earth!..they made PRESUMPTIONS that showed they had NO theocratic guidance at all then highlighted these at talks & seminars around the world...no wonder so many JW's left the organisation in 1976!..a true so called spirit led organisation would of just ignored or played down the date unlike the JW's who foolishly promoted it!
