some cool apps i have intalled in my new Mac Book Pro 17 inchs
it has 320hard drive and 8GB of ram
it run pretty good

@99metanight if you use software like that or any graphic software, it requires a computer that's strong. so $2000 is reasonable.

my dad owns the pro 17'' with the exact same specs, i own the late 2008 macbook unibody... but my point is that... MacBooks work like a DREAM!

even know u got 8 gigs of ram it still seems to run slow i see when u open the applications it takes a little to open them thats weird but i when i bought mine a year and a half ago i spent about 3800 on mine and had 4 gigs put it and got the 2.6 ghz processor mine is real fast i bet urs is insane i bet you can open every application u have and run them all with no problem
